The pandemic is making it harder for students to navigate the application process, but for aspiring arts students, applying to college poses another challenge: limited opportunities to train and prepare for college auditions. ArtsBridge, a college consulting firm whose artistic training programs help high school students navigate the college application and audition process, offers virtual classes for the Spring and Summer.  Their programs give young performing artists the tools to perfect their craft and audition approach, guided by top college arts faculty and industry professionals so students know what colleges are looking for straight from the source.

The virtual SpringTerm and Summer programs are great online resources so students can better prepare for remote college auditions. Apply online by February 1st (SpringTerm) and February 15th (Summer).

ArtsBridge SpringTerm is a six-week virtual acting intensive for any high school students who are interested in acting or musical theater while juggling a full-time high school schedule. The program offers a robust curriculum to refine quintessential performing techniques. The program runs from March 6 – April 17, 2021.

Students will be offered highly specialized classes including: The Meisner Technique, Text & Scene Study, Alexander Technique, Monologue Class, and Musical Theater. Application fee is $75 (application fee waivers are available on a need-basis by request).

The SpringTerm faculty roster includes: The New School, Fordham University, Queens College/CUNY, Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts, University of North Carolina School of Arts, Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama
