A Look At The Nobodies

By James DeSalvo

originally published: 04/04/2021

During a visit to "The Brighton Bar" in Long Branch, NJ, in late March 2021, this young energetic band drew my interest. Founded in 2019, The Nobodies are an Asbury Park- based four-piece rock band made up of these four rockers: Vocals/Guitar: Tanner Grigoli; Lead Guitar: Andrew Warade; Drums: Jason Stern; Bass: Ben Jackson

The Nobodies perform a high-energy mix of crowd favorites, original songs and deep track covers.  When asked of the bands direction, I was told they are focused on original music and will be going into the recording studio this spring. The Nobodies have played various venues across the Jersey Shore, including the legendary Stone Pony.

Their influences include Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin and Van Halen

The band's vision in part is summed up this way, "To have our music played on the radio and to bring rock music back to mainstream"  and "We also want people to connect and resonate with our music." For more on the band visit them on Facebook and Instagram.
