The Ritz Theatre Company presents "Falsettos"

originally published: 12/30/2021

(HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The Ritz Theatre Company presents Falsettos from January 14-23. The hilarious, heartbreaking, and utterly unique, musical was written by William Finn and James Lapine. Falsettos revolves around the life of a charming, intelligent, neurotic gay man named Marvin, his wife, lover, about-to-be-Bar-Mitzvahed son, their psychiatrist, and the lesbians next door.

The play is a hilarious and achingly poignant look at the infinite possibilities that make up a modern family... and a beautiful reminder that love can tell a million stories. The Ritz production is directed by Al Fuchs with musical direction by André Vermeulen.

The cast includes: John Baccaro as Marvin; Craig Hutchings as Mendel; Erica Harr as Trina; Thomas Smith as Whizzer; Corey Apelt as Jason; Missy O'Brien as Dr. Charlotte; and Jodi O'Connor as Cordelia.

Tickets are $27 and available for purchase online.  Ritz Theatre Company is located at 915 White Horse Pike in Haddon Township, New Jersey.

Falsettos premiered on Broadway in 1992 and was nominated for seven Tony Awards, winning those for Best Book and Best Original Score.  It was revived on Broadway in 2016.
