4th Annual Mistletoe Rock Radiothon Takes Place December 15-17


Press Communications Classic Rock WWZY-WBHX (107.1 THE BOSS) is throwing its 4th Annual ‘Mistletoe Rock Radiothon’ on Wednesday, December 15 with a special concert featuring Tommy Tutone at Bar Anticipation in Belmar. The concert begins at 7:00pm. Admission is $10 with all proceeds going to Michael's Feat, an organization that is dedicated to providing comfort for parents caring for seriously ill newborns.


Eddie Vedder To Play Shows In NY/NJ This February, Glen Hansard To Open


(NEWARK, NJ) -- Eddie Vedder and bandmates the Earthlings will hit the road in a series of U.S. concert dates in February 2022. The shows kick off on February 3-4 at the Beacon Theatre in New York and wrap up on February 22 in Vedder’s hometown of Seattle. Special guest Glen Hansard will open the shows. The tour will make a stop at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark, NJ, on Sunday, February 6.


Princeton University’s Student Groups Present Five Concerts in December


In April 2019, Princeton University held its first ever Jazz Festival featuring a broad lineup of jazz professionals playing with the university’s student groups. The professionals included saxophonists Joel Frahm, Tia Fuller, and Donny McCaslin; trumpeter Ingrid Jensen; vocalist Charenee Wade; percussionist Pedrito Martinez; and bassist Dave Holland. There were plans for a second festival in 2020, but, of course, those were canceled by the pandemic. 


Artists Sought For Numberella Charity Album


DEUCE is currently seeking bands and artists to be included on this years Numberella Charity Album. Each year Numberella releases a charity album for an educational charity.  This year, they are raising money for It's Humanity Foundation who work to provide free education for children in the poorest areas of Bangladesh.  In addition to their exisiting campuses, It's Humanity Foundation recently opened a school on a converted bus which now tours around the slums in the capital Dhaka; broadening the horizons and improving the prospects of children there.  Most recently the innovation was featured on BBC Asia. The submission deadline is Friday, December 17, 2021.


Ember Choral Arts To Perform Two Shows In December


(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Ember Choral Arts, formerly known as Schola Cantorum on Hudson, founded in 1995 by Artistic Director Dr. Deborah Simpkin King, announces two holiday concerts (December 18-19) titled Ember December. These free concerts ($5 donation in NYC) will feature Ember, the semi-professional ensemble of Ember Choral Arts. Ember performs its full season in both Manhattan and New Jersey, and enjoys international recognition particularly for its work in advocacy of new choral music.


Keith Urban's 2022 Tour Includes Shows In NY/NJ


(HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Four-time GRAMMY© Award winner Keith Urban has set Summer ’22 for the North American debut of his first world tour in four years, The Speed of Now World Tour.  The tour’s newly announced North American leg, with 3x GRAMMY© nominee Ingrid Andress, will add fifty shows to the previously announced concerts in Australia, Germany, Netherlands and the U.K., includes stops at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ on July 29th, the BB&T Pavilion in Camden on July 31st, and at the new UBS Arena at Belmont Park, located on the border of Queens and Nassau County, on Saturday, October 22. 


Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra Returns To In-Person Concerts On Sunday


(PLAINSBORO, NJ) -- Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra is presenting its Grand Reopening Holiday Concert - their first live in-person concert since the start of the pandemic - on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 7:00pm.  The concert will be held at the Princeton Alliance Church, which is located at 20 Schalks Crossing Road, on the corner of Scudders Mill Road and Schalks Crossing Road in Plainsboro, NJ.

New Jersey Ballet's 50th Anniversary Run Of "The Nutcracker" Comes To MPAC For 10 Performances


(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- New Jersey Ballet's 50th anniversary presentation of the holiday classic Nutcracker comes to Mayo Performing Arts Center for 10 performances beginning Friday, December 17 at 7:30pm and running to Sunday, December 26. New Jersey Symphony Orchestra will provide live orchestral accompaniment. Tickets range from $35-$75.

Spotlight On BergenPAC Shows This December


(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- bergenPAC has something for everyone to enjoy this holiday season, starting with New Jersey Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker. Then crooners like Michael Bolton, The Irish Tenors and The Midtown Men sing Christmas favorites, while saxophonist Kenny G puts a contemporary spin on the classics. The Wizards of Winter perform a Christmas-themed rock opera. And closing out the season is the one and only Darlene Love singing her iconic anthem “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).”


Light the World Giving Machines Return During Christmas Season


Light the World Giving Machines are now available in 10 locations across the United States for people to donate to dozens of local and global charity organizations this Christmas season. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on November 30 (“Giving Tuesday”) to officially open the “vending machines” for business near the Rockefeller tree in New York City. When New Yorkers and tourists visit Rockefeller Center, they can access a Light the World Giving Machine to select personalized donations to benefit those in need this holiday season.


NJ Sisters From Nickelodeon's "A Loud House Christmas" Movie Helped Raise $2,500 For Family and Children's Service Operation Sleighbells


Real life sisters and Rumson, New Jersey natives, Catherine Ashmore Bradley and Aubin Bradley hosted and sponsored a private charity event with The Professional Performance Prep in support of Family and Children’s Service Operation Sleighbells! They raised over $2,500 in online and gift card donations for FCS Operation Sleighbells. Donations are still being accepted online.

Carteret’s Annual Holiday Festival and Christmas Tree Lighting Takes Place Friday


(CARTERET, NJ) -- Mayor Daniel J. Reiman has announced Carteret’s Annual Holiday Festival and Christmas Tree Lighting will be held this Friday, December 3rd at Carteret Park from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. The Festival, which is free for all families to attend, will feature live holiday music, pictures with Santa, hot cocoa, hot cider, cookies, pretzels, and horse & buggy rides, all compliments of the Carteret Charity Trust Fund. The Christmas tree lighting will be at 7:00pm sharp.
