State Theatre presents Cirque Dreams Holidaze
(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents Cirque Dreams Holidaze on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 8:00pm and Thursday, December 9 at 8:00pm. This holiday spectacular wraps a whimsical, Broadway-style musical infused with contemporary circus artistry into the ultimate holiday gift for the entire family. Tickets range from $40-$98.
Aspire PAC Presents Pilot Production of "The Drowsy Chaperone, JR"
(WAYNE, NJ) -- Aspire Performing Arts Company (Aspire PAC) will present a pilot production of The Drowsy Chaperone JR., based on the Tony Award-winning musical The Drowsy Chaperone. The pilot production will run from December 10 through 12 at the Packanack Community Church in Wayne, NJ.
John Guare Headlines New Works Fest Of Short Plays At Black Box PAC
(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Fresh off a successful new workshop of Eric Bogosian's 1+1, and an encore presentation of Neil LaBute's ten x ten, Black Box PAC is pleased to produce a NEW WORKS FEST: Dynamic, Script-in-Hand Performances of Short Plays featuring works from Broadway's John Guare, Off-Broadway's Caridad Svich, and others! The festival will run December 16 through 19 at 8:00pm at the Black Box Performing Arts Center in Englewood.

"Gone Too Soon: The Life, Legacy and Loss of Newark's Cultural Icons" to have screening on December 11th
(NEWARK, NJ) -- On Saturday, December 11, 2021, Rutgers University–Newark, Office of University Community Partnerships in collaboration with Woman In Media Newark and Celeste Bateman & Associates, LLC will host community screenings of the celebrated new documentary Gone Too Soon: The Life, Legacy and Loss of Newark’s Cultural Icons. Screenings will take place at Express Newark, 54 Halsey Street Room #213 in downtown Newark at 11:00am and 1:30pm. The event is free, but registration is required. A post-show discussion with producer/director Celeste A. Bateman and members of the film crew will immediately follow both showings.

Brookdale's Cross Country Team Finishes 9th in the Nation
(LINCROFT, NJ) -- The Brookdale Community College Men's Cross-Country Team finished their season 9th in the Nation. Standout freshman Theodore Purdon finished 7th in the Nation at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III Championship meet held at the Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Georgia.
