(CARTERET, NJ) -- The Carteret Business Partnership announced that it has raised $1.75 million in charitable donations for the Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center (CPAC).  United Roosevelt Savings Bank (URSB), a long-standing financial institution in Carteret first established in 1914 and located on Cooke Avenue directly next to CPAC, won the naming rights of the venue for the next 10 years after donating $1 million following an extensive national search and a widely-advertised request for proposals.

“This sizable $1 million donation to the Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center displays URSB’s dedication to the arts and their support of everything that makes Carteret a great place to live, work, and raise a family,” said Council President Vinnie Bellino.

Since 1914, URSB has been serving the banking needs of Carteret and the surrounding communities. URSB’s leadership continues to represent a truly talented team of banking industry professionals and their approach focuses on tried-and-true growth. URSB is a bank dedicated to their customers, their goals, and their best interests. URSB’s daily work is centered on improving processes, providing powerful financial tools, and helping their customers pursue their dreams while remaining financially secure. URSB is invested in the success of its customers’ families, goals, and ambitions.

“URSB is proud to serve as a cornerstone of the Carteret community and to support the amazing programs, shows, and opportunities the Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center provides,” said URSB President and CEO Kenneth R. Totten. “On behalf of our customers, employees, and neighbors, we are proud to name this incredible venue the URSB Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center, and look forward to the many upcoming events.”

“We are happy to find that our extensive search for a naming rights donor eventually led us close to home with URSB, a business that has been a member of our community for over 100 years,” said Carteret Business Partnership Executive Director Mark Hruska.

Additional donors to CPAC include Amazon, which provided $250,000, the Frank Visceglia family, and Crow Holdings.

Donations received will be deposited to a fund for general repairs, maintenance, and other expenses of operating the venue. Program specific funds, like Amazon’s donation, will be used for youth educational programs including the “Master Class in the Arts” series, which will be open to Carteret Middle School and Carteret High School students.

The Carteret Business Partnership (CBP) was the designated developer for construction of the CPAC and currently oversees operations of the center. The facility is managed by Comcast Spectra, which is responsible for booking, ticket sales, project management, strategic marketing, business expansion, vendor relations, sponsorship sales, and contract negotiations.

The URSB Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center has additional prestigious sponsorship opportunities that position donors as a dedicated supporter of the arts within a region that boasts over 1 million residents within 40 miles of the venue. Naming opportunities, at various levels of sponsorship can be customized to meet any company’s budget and range from prominent venue naming that offers major branding impact, to smaller naming opportunities including the Main Auditorium; Main Atrium; Art Gallery / Public Space; The Comedy Club / Black Box Lounge, which includes private bars and restrooms in a “club” atmosphere, perfect for up to 250 guests; Parking Deck; Luxury Boxes; The Rooftop Lounge, which provides the perfect open-air backdrop for client appreciation events, private pre-show or post-show gatherings or special events for up to 250 guests; three main bars, one per floor; and The VIP Lounge that boasts an exclusive Members-Only area with dedicated bars and food service; as well as Name Your Seat opportunities that include an “In Memory of” Commemorative Seat Plaque.
