Middlesex County will host the Fifth Annual Middlesex County Business Summit: "Leading with a Purpose" online via ZOOM on Thursday, October 21 from 8:30am - 10:30am. The event features a distinguished panel of forward-thinking business leaders, entrepreneurs, and other executives to discuss how they are re-evaluating how their companies are operating in this evolving “next normal”—and the changes they’re implementing.

The panelists will address how companies are operating and evolving to meet the needs of employees, customers, supply chains, and the community as COVID-19 continues to affect traditional business standards. As the County and the community grapple with the "next normal," this year's Business Summit will focus on how the County in partnership with business leaders are creating a sense of purpose in the everchanging workplace. This free event is open to the public.

Event panelists include: Monique Carswell, Director, Center for Racial Equity, WAL-MART Foundation; Sandy S. Castor, Director Office of Business Engagement, Middlesex County; Lou Cooperhouse, President & CEO, BlueNalu, Inc.; Gene Gurevich, Director of Policy and Business Development, Mobileye; and Natalie Madeira Cofield, Assistant Administrator, Office of Women's Business Ownership, U.S. Small Business Administration.  The panel will be moderated by Cordell Carter, Executive Director, Aspen Institute.

The event is free to the public.  Register online here.

Leading up to this year's Business Summit, Middlesex County hosted a mini-series which included Leading Where We Live and Leading Locally in the 4th Industrial Revolution (shown above), to help illustrate how Middlesex County continues to implement the County's future-forward economic development strategy as part of a larger strategic planning initiative, Destination 2040.
