Centenary Stage Company Closes Out Women Playwrights Series With "Loretta The Yodeling Cowgirl" On May 5th
(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- The final reading in this season’s Women Playwrights Series at Centenary Stage Company is Vita Patrick Morales’s Loretta the Yodeling Cowgirl taking place on Wednesday, May 5th at 7:30pm in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center. The play is inspired by a true story of Loretta and her wiry friend, Em, who live in a home for the aged in Mount Jewett, Pennsylvania. Their days are the same and their banter circuitous. But when Loretta learns that her daughters are about to sell the family home, she travels back in time to the days of her Yodeling Cowgirl fame, and the choices she made for happiness.

McCarter Theatre Center to participate in Healing Voices: Caregiver Stories on May 7
(PRINCETON, NJ) -- New Jersey professional and family caregivers, as well as patients receiving care, were asked to submit creative prose, poetry, and theatrical pieces that reflect the theme of caregiving or the personal healing experience. Over 100 writers submitted pieces to the project for consideration. The 16 pieces selected by McCarter were then woven together by a professional director into an evening of virtual readings celebrating, exploring, and bearing witness to the caregiving experience.
Ocean County College’s Repertory Theatre Presents "In the Shadow of the Globe" on May 20
(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Repertory Theatre Company at Ocean County College will present a virtual production of In the Shadow of the Globe by Michelle Cameron on Thursday, May 20 at 7:00pm. In the Shadow of the Globe is a verse novel in ten acts of the lives and loves of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.

With songs like “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “Walk Like a Man”, “Sherry”, and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” -- nothing says ‘60s doo-wop like Frankie Valli.
Everclear, Living Colour, Hoobastank & Wheatus - 2021 Summerland Tour Comes To Atlantic City On July 3rd
(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Everclear has announced the return of their Summerland Tour in 2021, featuring fellow noted rock acts Living Colour, Hoobastank & Wheatus. Kicking off this July, the tour comes to the Orange Loop Arena in Atlantic City on Saturday, July 3rd. It will make its way through cities such as Houston, Cincinnati and Fort Wayne, and will eventually extend through September and early October as COVID mandates are lifted and more dates are added.
