
(NEWARK, NJ) -- GRAMMY Museum Experience(TM) Prudential Center continues its dynamic online programming with its first-ever live D.I.Y. Record Label Workshop, a free online video learning series open to New Jersey area high school students. The series runs Tuesdays from May 26 to June 16 - all at 3:00pm.
The four, one-hour sessions cover topics essential to self-releasing music including, preparing tracks for release, digital distribution, album and single artwork, music and lyric videos, social media promotion and media coverage. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the strategy, release and promotion of a new single from ideation to execution.
The live online workshop is led by Mark Conklin, Director, Artist Relations and Programming at the GRAMMY Museum Experience(TM) Prudential Center who will be joined by special guests from all corners of the music industry including marketing, branding, public relations, digital media, audio production, digital distribution and more.

Built and operated by Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, the 8,000-square-foot GRAMMY Museum Experience (TM) is housed within Prudential Center. The Experience marks the first GRAMMY Museum outpost to be built on the East Coast and, similar to the original GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles, the Experience will be dedicated to exploring the past, present and future of music, and the cultural context from which it emerges, while casting a focused spotlight on the deep musical roots of New Jersey. The Experience features a dynamic combination of educational programming including Summer Session, “Spotlight Series” and “An Evening With Series” and interactive permanent and traveling exhibits, including a spotlight on legendary GRAMMY winners from New Jersey.
