Crossroads Theatre Company Returns Downtown For The 2019-20 Season

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Crossroads Theatre Company is returning to the downtown area for the 2019-20 season which will take place in the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center.  The season includes Paul Robeson by Phillip Hayes Dean, A Christmas Carol - a musical based on the story by Charles Dickens, and the World Premiere of Freedom Rider.


Bridge Players Theatre Company Opens 44th Season With "Legally Blonde"

(BURLINGTON CITY, NJ) -- Bridge Players Theatre Company, the Burlington City-based community theatre group, will open its 44th season with the delightful musical comedy Legally Blonde: The Musical.  The production runs weekends from September 20 to October 5.


The Barn Theatre of Montville To Hold Auditions For "She Loves Me"

The Barn Theatre in Montville, New Jersey continues its 92nd season by holding open auditions on September 8th & 9th at 7:00pm for its upcoming production of She Loves Me, written by Joe Masteroff with music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick.  The production will be directed by Scott Hart with musical direction by Jack Bender and choreography by Roxanna Wagner. Audition Dates: Sunday September 8, 2019 at 7:00pm and Monday September 9th at 7:00pm. Call backs (if needed) on Saturday September 14th at 1:00pm.

The Voice of Yes: Jon Anderson LIVE! at Ocean City Music Pier

It’s a gorgeous Monday, July 29, 2019 evening on the boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ, where music fans are lining up for a live Ocean City Music Pier performance by English singer/songwriter Jon Anderson, best known as a founding member of the progressive rock band, Yes.


State Theatre Presents The Piano Guys

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey and AEG present The Piano Guys with special guest the Youth Orchestra of Central Jersey on Tuesday, September 10 at 8:00pm. The Piano Guys became a sensation after releasing a series of original music, mixing classical music with pop. Now, the group is delighting live audiences with their blend of classical and pop music as they embark on a 2019 fall tour. Tickets range from $49-$199. The $199 Premium Ticket includes a meet and greet with The Piano Guys.

Lighthouse International Film Festival To Screen "The Biggest Little Farm"

(LOVELADIES, LBI) -- The Lighthouse International Film Festival and The LBI Foundation of the Arts and Science will screen the award-winning, acclaimed documentary The Biggest Little Farm at the LBI Foundation on Friday, August 16 at 7:30pm. This is showing in theaters around the country and here on LBI ! The evening will include a Mini Farm Market presented by Sassafras Hill Farms and Soil to Soul, supporters of the evening. Admission is $5 and free for Children, Student and LIF Society members.

Monmouth County hosts Nature On The Move

(MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- On Thursday, September 19, from 6:00pm-9:00pm the Friends of the Monmouth County Parks are raising a glass to toast Nature On The Move, a celebration of the Monmouth County Park System. Held at the Tatum Park Holland Activity Center, 204 Holland Road, Middletown, guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, light bites, premium wines, locally distilled spirits, and NJ craft beers.

Seton Hall University Student to Present at International College Radio Conference

(SOUTH ORANGE, NJ) -- Seton Hall University senior and WSOU 89.5 FM news director Robert Towey will co-lead a hands-on workshop at the Alternatives 2019 International Student Radio Conference, hosted at the University of Cambridge in England. Towey, who was personally invited by the conference to participate as an instructor, is the only college student to teach a workshop at this worldwide gathering.  All other workshops are led by faculty members and industry professionals.


Victorian Pressed Flower Workshop at Morven

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Spend an afternoon at Morven Museum & Garden as Victorian women, such as Harriet Stockton might have, and create pressed flower art surrounded by historic garden with Morven’s Curator of Education Debra Lampert-Rudman. Morven presents Victorian Pressed Flower Workshop on Saturday, September 21 from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
