(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Studio Players presents Some Girl(s) by Neil LaBute from January 18 through February 2. In the play, a soon-to-be-married writer, feeling guilty about past relationship transgressions, embarks on a cross-country trip to ostensibly make amends. As he revisits the ghosts of girlfriends past, the story takes on a darker edge that’s, at the same time, loathsome, deliciously evil, and funny. The production is directed by Amy Fox.
New York Magazine said, “Some Girl(s) follows the Neil LaBute recipe—bad behavior with a twist, served ice cold—to a fault.”
The cast includes GUY: Seth Kaplan; SAM: Allyssa Hynes; TYLER: Lisa Vasfailo; LYNDSAY: Angela Grippo; REGGIE: Megan Hatem; and BOBBI: Brittany Haydock.
Performances are January 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27, 31, February 1, 2 (Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00pm; Sundays at 3:00pm). Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students/seniors, and are available online or by calling the box office at 973-744-9752.
