
(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- WXPN-FM, the non-commercial, member-supported radio station of the University of Pennsylvania, announced on-air that case/lang/veirs has been added to the 2016 XPoNential Music Festival. The new trio consisting of singer-songwriters Neko Case, k.d. lang and Laura Veirs will join the lineup of the Sunday, July 24 concert at BB&T Pavilion in Camden, NJ that also features Brandi Carlile and Old Crow Medicine Show.
An announcement was made this morning by case/lang/veirs about their first album, coming in June. WXPN was among the first radio stations in the U.S. to start playing a track from it this past weekend.
WXPN’s annual XPoNential Music Festival will take place from Friday, July 22 through Sunday, July 24. The three-day, two-venue Festival features three concerts at BB&T Pavilion through WXPN’s partnership with promoter Live Nation, and on two stages at adjacent Wiggins Park. More Wiggins Park artists will be announced, with all festival details and updates located at xpnfest.org.
Tickets for the 2016 XPoNential Music Festival are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets, the BB&T Pavilion box office, and Ticketmaster.com. WXPN members may purchase discounted tickets for a limited time at xpnfest.org.

The XPoNential Music Festival presented by Subaru is WXPN’s signature annual concert event that draws audiences from throughout the Greater Philadelphia area, Mid-Atlantic region, and Northeastern US. Now in its 12th year at Wiggins Park and 5th year at the adjacent BB&T Pavilion (formerly Susquehanna Bank Center), WXPN produces the XPoNential Music Festival in partnership with the Camden County Board of Freeholders.
