
(Englewood, NJ) -- Bergen Performing Arts Center located at 30 North Van Brunt Street in Englewood, New Jersey presents Painter Julio Borges: Expressionist Art: Majestic Exhibition. The exhibit is in residence at The Intermezzo Gallery on the 2nd floor of the bergenPAC August 3-31, 2015. The gallery is open to the general public free of charge during box office hours Mon-Fri 11AM – 4PM Saturday 12PM to 4PM. A free reception will take place Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 6-8PM.
Julio Borges, born in Calabazar de Saguar, left Cuba in 1968 and moved to Union City, NJ in 1970 after living in Spain for two years. In 1965 Julio studied drawing and painting in The National School of Arts in Santa Clara, Cuba. In 1989 he graduated from The Rafdaly Fine Arts Academy in New Jersey. Also in 1990 he took master lessons at Dalia Condis Fine Arts Academy in North Bergen, New Jersey. Julio has presented his art work in the Tri-State area in a variety of personal and collective exhibits in a span of 30 years, notably in the United Nations, the Jadite Gallery, and the Garden State Arts Center. When he is not painting, Julio owns a real estate company by the name of Gonzalo Real Estate and is an active member of H.A.V.A.S. and the Classical Arts Theatre/Gallery.

En 1965 Julio estudio dibujo y pintura en La Escuela Nacional de Art en Santa Clara, Cuba. Se graduo` en 1989 de Rafdaly Fine Arts Academy in New Jersey como pintor, y tambien tomo master clases en La Academia de Arte de Dalia Condis en North Bergen, NJ. Julio has presentado las pinturas de el en un lapso de trenta anos en una varieded de ubicaciones en la Tri-State area, notablemente in el United Natins, Jafite Gallery, y Garden State Arts Center. Cuando no esta pintando, Julio es un inversionista en Real Estate (Gonzalo Real Estate) y es un membro activo del H.A.V.A.S. y The Classical Arts Theatre/Gallery.
