Lazlo, founder of BlowUpRadio.com (an online radio station based around New Jersey artists), shines a light on some of the many new releases from NJ based musicians each week with this column. This week Lazlo takes a look at releases by Alex Julia, Reese Van Riper, and Wizard of Loneliness.
Before we get into new music this week I would like to take a moment to thank everyone involved with our annual Banding Together Webathon for the Spondylitis Association of America, that aired this past weekend on BlowUpRadio.com.
Reese Van Riper - "Sinners". Reese Van Riper is an expert at a dark, bluesy, New Orleans influenced, Americana sound.
Wizard of Loneliness - "Last Words". Wizard of Loneliness describes "Last Words" as, "melancholic reflection and a statement on breaking free of bonds that hold you in the relationships that hold you in place." I call it a synth & acoustic based masterpiece!
That's all for this week.
Remember BlowUpRadio.com, plays these and many other New Jersey based artists on our internet radio station, so please check us out. #SupportGoodMusic - If you like any of the above artists, please purchase their music from their site. And if you would like to part of BlowUpRadio.com's New & Notable, please send downloads or contact Lazlo at Lazlo-at-BlowUpRadio-dot-com
(NEWTON, NJ) -- Few musical artists résumés list membership in a band inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; fewer still can lay claim to being a founding member of the seminal band credited with creating Country Rock; and only one artist can include all the above in addition to being one half of the most successful duos of the 1970s: Jim Messina. He's been a member of Buffalo Springfield and would go on to form the band Poco and then Loggins & Messina with Kenny Loggins.
Nobody covers the Arts throughout the Garden State like New Jersey Stage!
