The Illusionists Are Coming To Mayo

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- On the heels of a highly successful multi-city tour and run on Broadway, the world's best-selling touring magic show, The Illusionists - Live From Broadway will play Mayo Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 4:30pm & 7:30pm, as part of its current North American tour to more than 50 cities. Tickets are $49 - $89.

The Illusionists - Live From Broadway is produced by Simon Painter, Tim Lawson and MagicSpace Entertainment. Conceived by Simon Painter, the show's creative team also includes executive producer Tim Lawson, director Neil Dorward and creative director Jim Millan.

Full of hilarious magic tricks, death-defying stunts and acts of breathtaking wonder, The Illusionists has shattered box office records worldwide and thrilled audiences of all ages with a mind-blowing spectacular showcasing the jaw-dropping talents of seven of the most incredible illusionists on earth.

Audiences will witness stunning acts of grand illusion, levitation, mind-reading, disappearance and for the first time ever in history, a full view water torture escape. Performed by the acclaimed escapologist Andrew Basso, he will hold his breath for over 4 minutes whilst attempting to escape from his underwater cell. This group of world-class performers take their cue from the showmanship of the great illusionists of the past - such as Harry Houdini - and pair it with a new and updated contemporary aesthetic, whose set and costume design lend the genre a theatricality and artistry that has rarely been seen before.  Collectively, these performers have been seen by millions of people around the world and this production showcases their incredible talents together on stage for the very first time.

Creative Producer Simon Painter said, "We can't wait to bring this electrifying show to Morristown for a truly entertaining experience for the whole family. The Illusionists is the most non-stop and powerful mix of outrageous and astonishing acts ever to be seen on the live stage."
