This dark and twisted tale about love, murder and revenge tells the story of Sweeney Todd, a former barber who was wrongfully sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment. With the help of his alia, Mrs. Lovett, Sweeney Todd’s return causes the pair to team up and seek revenge on the corrupt judge who banished him and tore his family apart. After brainstorming a unique plan that helps the duo, it also sends them down a dangerous, thrilling path with deadly consequences.
Featuring captivating numbers, “No Place Like London,” “Green Finch,” “Pretty Women,” “Johanna” and “Worst Pies in London,” this dark musical is rich with plot twists and filled with soaring choral and orchestral accompaniment.
