(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Telegraph Hill Records will release its annual compilation playlist on December 27th, 2019. The playlist consists of brand new singles from many different artists in and around Asbury Park. Featuring unique tracks from 16+ artists, it’s a must-stream for any local music supporter. Listen and discover your next favorite band and find out what all the fuss with “the scene” is about!
The playlist features an eclectic and diverse range of musical styles from rock to pop, folk to funk, and punk to soul, Vol. 02 has something for just about any fan looking for some new local classics. Included on the compilation will be familiar faces you’ve seen constantly performing around Asbury Park such as Lowlight, The Foes of Fern, Des and the Swagmatics, Levy and the Oaks, Natalie Farrell, and Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son. Featured on last year’s debut compilation playlist, they will be alongside plenty of other Asbury artists working in the studio this year with the production team and resident engineer/producer Joseph Pomarico.

On the heels of last year’s release, Telegraph Hill Records was invited to help organize a two day celebration of all of Asbury Park's music at the Wonder Bar called “What a Wonderful Year” and they are back as sponsors again, making it the unofficial release party for the Vol. 02 playlist. WAWY is on Thursday, December 26 and Friday, December 27. The event includes performances by Connor Bracker and the Mother Leeds Band; Cranston Dean Band + Patty C; Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son; Natalie Farrell; Jarod Clemons and the Late Nights; Beautiful Scumbags; Bulletproof Belv; Rachel Ana Dobken; Katherine Quintana; Devon Alana; 8Dayz; Blaise; Ashley McKinley; Martin Howth; Tara Dente; Lowlight; The Foes of Fern; Drew The Recluse; The Extensions; and The Mercury Brothers. The event is hosted by Megan O'Shea and Jess Alaimo. Tickets are $16 in advance and $20 at the door. The Wonder Bar is located at Fifth and Ocean Avenue in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
