Sal Valentinetti To Perform At Count Basie

(RED BANK, NJ) -- Sal Valentinetti, the golden-voiced crooner who nearly swept Season 11 of America’s Got Talent but instead won legions of fans throughout the Metropolitan area, has announced his New Jersey debut for January 26th, 2017 at the historic Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank. Tickets range from $25 - $79.

“Sal the Voice,” as he is affectionately known from Brooklyn to the Bayshore, can be found on Sundays sipping cappuccino at the café, telling stories, making jokes and planning his next move to energize American pop culture. That strategy now includes his January 26th, 2017 appearance at New Jersey’s best-selling center for the performing arts.

Valentinetti represents a return to the traditional, classy, old-school entertainer like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin or Tony Bennett. His voice won the heart of America’s Got Talent judge Heidi Klum, who presented the crooner with the coveted “Golden Buzzer” during his run on the program.

On the eve of the show’s semifinals, where the 22-year old performed the Sinatra classic “That’s Life” backed by a full orchestra, Valentinetti told Billboard that win or lose, the show would forever change his life.

“For me, no matter what happens tonight… this is what I am doing for the rest of my life,” he said. “I’m 21 years old, I’m in college, and it’s the most stressful time. You are only in this world two decades and you have to decide what you want to do for the rest of your life. That question, that stressful question, was asked of me up on that stage the first time, and that first audition.  This is what I want to do for the rest of my life, so this is happening either way.”

Valentinetti recently logged two, sold-out hometown performances at Huntington, Long Island’s Paramount. With his Sinatra-like style and old-school charm, fans expect his Basie performance to go just as well.

The Count Basie Theatre is located at 99 Monmouth Street in Red Bank, NJ.
