O.A.R. Returns to Tropicana In October

(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Great news for rock fans – O.A.R.’s stOARies Tour includes a stop at Tropicana Atlantic City. See this knockout band in the Tropicana Showroom on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 8:00pm. Doors open at 7:00pm. Tickets range from $58 to $73.

Since forming while in high school in Rockville, Maryland, O.A.R. has become one of the most beloved bands in the rock world. Over the last two decades, the band has been cranking out one winning track after another.  The band has released over six studio albums and three live double disc CDS, selling over two million albums and more than two million concert tickets, including two sold out shows at Madison Square Garden and the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.

With platinum singles and numerous charting albums in their repertoire, the band released the album King in 2011, which debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 chart, No. 3 on the Billboard Digital Album Chart, and was No. 4 on iTunes.  King was the follow up to the band’s 2008 release, All Sides, which contained the platinum hit single, “Shattered.”

O.A.R. has performed on such national TV shows as The Today Show, Live with Kelly and Michael, CONAN, and 2015 Special Olympics Opening Ceremony. In 2015, the band performed in New York City’s Times Square New Year’s Eve Celebration to a live audience of over 1.5 million, reaching millions of fans worldwide.

2016 marked O.A.R.’s 20th  anniversary with the release of their new album, XX; a career spanning collection that shines a light on key moments from the band’s illustrious career and features two new songs including the new single “I Go Through” which was written and recorded as the cameras rolled during the captivating six- part docu-series Evolution of a Song.
