(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Mark Diomede will show a different side of his musical talent at the Tropicana Atlantic City when he teams up with The Disco Inferno Band to present a free 1970s disco concert on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the Grand Exhibition Center. The long-time master of the jam band scene has been performing with this project for a couple of years doing special occasion gigs such as Tropicana’s Indoor Beach Bash. Doors are at 7:30pm and Mark Diomede and The Disco Inferno Band hit the stage at 8:00pm.
Music fans will not want to miss the chance to soak in the groovy vibes as Mark and his band pay tribute to 70s in this concert event. Some of the band's popular covers include “Get Down Tonight,” “Hot Stuff,” “Jungle Boogie,” “Superstition,” “Brick House,” and “Play that Funky Music.”
Mark Diomede and The Disco Inferno Band is sure to be dynamite with a nine piece band, including female and male lead singers, two guitar players, bass player, drummer, trumpet player, saxophone player, and a trombone player. Ever evolving, The Disco Inferno Band represents all incarnations of the music, with guests that include new players and friends who have played the music over the years. Concert attendees must be 21 or older.
“You should be dancing, yeah! Put your dancing shoes on as we set the room on fire!,” said Diomede, best known for his band The Juggling Suns. “We can’t wait to turn up the heat as we perform red hot interpretations of some of your favorite 70’s dance classics.”
