Circle Players presents "Les Liaisons Dangereuses"

Circle Players presents "Les Liaisons Dangereuses"(PISCATAWAY, NJ) -- Circle Players and director Richard Butler of Piscataway present the fourth production of their 2018-2019 season, Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Christopher Hampton from March 29 through April 14, 2019. In this classic play, former lovers La Marquise de Merteuil and Le Vicomte de Valmont, two merciless aristocrats, compete in games of seduction and revenge, toying with the hearts and reputations of innocents as they do. But when Merteuil incites Valmont to corrupt the convent-educated Cecile before her wedding night, events soon spiral beyond anyone’s control.

The cast includes Erik Hall (Le Vicomte de Valmont), Faith Dowgin (La Marquise de Merteuil), Alicia Harabin (Mme. de Tourvel), Nancy Jean McBride (Mme. de Volanges), Kate Mochnacz (Cécile Volanges), Kevin Albanese (Le Chevalier Danceny), Roberta Steve (Mme de Rosemonde), Bobby Marusiefski (Azolan), Allison Mitchell (Émilie), and Matt Marino (Major-domo).

Circle Players presents "Les Liaisons Dangereuses"The crew includes Producer J.D. Robinson, Stage Manager Jennifer Robinson, Assistant Stage Manager Matt Marino, Set Designer Jennifer Robinson, Costume Designer Emily Tonn, Lighting Designer Paul Carver, Props Designer Stacie Renz, Sound Designer John Dowgin, and Fight Directors Jason Burford, Erik Hall.

Tickets are $20 for adults/$18 for seniors/students. Performances are Fridays: March 29th and April 12th at 8:00pm; Saturdays: March 30th, April 6th, and April 13th at 8:00pm; and Sundays: April 7th and April 14th at 3:00pm. A complimentary wine and cheese reception will be held following the opening night performance, and a talkback will be held following the Sunday, April 7th performance. For reservations, call (732) 968-7555, or purchase tickets online.

The theater is located at 416 Victoria Avenue, Piscataway. Please be advised: due to the unique layout of this theater in the round, latecomers cannot be seated after the performance has started. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before curtain.
