Quentin Jones's Rock & Roll Revue Comes To Roxy & Dukes On Feb 27

(DUNELLEN, NJ) -- Quentin Jones’s Rock& Roll Revue comes to Roxy & Dukes on Saturday, February 27.  The show takes the idea of the great combo tours of the golden age of rock & roll and brings it to the forefront of a new retro revival happening across the country.  The night features The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns who are also the backing band for the other artists on the show. Artists appearing in the revue include Linda Gail Lewis, Eddie Angel, Danny B. Harvey and Annie Marie Lewis.

This show is one long set and each act on the bill plays up to six songs making Quentin Jones's Rock & Roll Revue a fast paced and interesting show for today’s audiences. Think of this as a “festival on wheels” giving fans the opportunity to see something unique and memorable.

About Quentin Jones:

Quentin Jones is the founder of Lanark Records, an independent record label concentrating on  roots music based in Lancaster, PA. He’s the lead guitarist and chief songwriter for The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns and keeps an active road life having toured with artists such as Peter Noone, Charlie Gracie, Robert Gordon, The Rockats as well as his own band. The guitarist now has an endorsement from Gretsch Guitars endorsing the company’s Panther guitar. As a critically acclaimed producer, he has been behind the board for numerous artists including The Rockats, Charlie Gracie, Linda Gail Lewis, Tommy Conwell, The Gas House Gorillas,  Nick Kane, and many more. He also served as a co-producer with Robert Gordon on his "I'm Coming Home" album and with Al Kooper on Charlie Gracie's "For the Love of Charlie" on ABKCO records. Quentin continues to push his vision of roots rock music into the future. Visit www.lanarkrecords.net for more information about Quentin Jones, his music, and the artists he works with.

Artists appearing in the "Revue":

Linda Gail Lewis- The sister of "The Killer" Jerry Lee Lewis and world renowned artist in her own right.  She has won over fans all over the world for 5 decades and continues to thrill crowds with her fiery piano playing and passionate vocals.  Her new project, Hard Rockin' Woman is her first for Lanark Records and produced by Quentin Jones.

Eddie Angel- By now everybody who likes rock 'n' roll, rockabilly and/or surfmusic must have heard of Eddie Angel. If you have listened to only one of Eddie recordings you know that this man is a legend in his own lifetime. Playing awesome guitar with legends like Ronnie Dawson and Link Wray and a very active recording artist as well. Eddie recorded with Tex Rubinowitz' band "The Bad Boys", Martha Hull (both on Ripsaw label), the legendary rockabilly revival band "The Planet Rockers" (with Sonny George), "Eddie Angel's Dinosaurs", "The Neanderthals" and "Los Straitjackets" and of course he had some great solo-issues, amongst which self-penned "Rampage". Eddie plays a mean guitar in every genre he picks up, rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, surf, garage, you name it, Eddie plays it!

The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns- They deliver high energy rockabilly/rock & roll with witty and straight forward lyrics often based on real life experiences.  They've won over fans as high profile as Stephen King who tweeted about being a favorite of his last fall.  Their latest, Rockabilly Deluxe, continues to pick up new radio airplay across the world.  Their rhythm section for this tour (and for the other artists on the bill as well) will consist of Liberty DeVitto (Billy Joel) on drums and Kenny Aaronson on bass (Bob Dylan, Billy Squier, Billy Idol, Joan Jett, Brian Setzer)

Danny B. Harvey - DANNY B HARVEY is best known as the guitarist for the super group HeadCat (a band he formed with Lemmy from Motorhead and Slim Jim Phantom from Stray Cats) but he was also a founding member of The Original Neo-Rockabilly band The Rockats and his dynamic "White Striped of Country" duo The Lonesome Spurs.  Danny has produced, recorded, and performed with Wanda Jackson, Nancy Sinatra, Johnny Ramone, Levi Dexter, and The Swing Cats.  This past year Danny B released a CD and toured with his Goth'n'Roll band The 69 Cats, which features vocalist Jyrki 69 from The 69 Eyes, drummer Clem Burke from Blondie, and former Cramps bassist Chopper Franklin.

ANNIE MARIE LEWIS is the niece of Jerry Lee Lewis, daughter of Linda Gail Lewis, and cousin of Mickey  Gilley--she has the genealogy, the roots, and the direct blood connection to the first family of Rock'n'Roll.  Annie Marie has been opening shows for Jerry Lee with her mama ever since she was a teenager and has also sung backups with Van Morrison and toured the world with her mama, Linda Gail.  Recently she hooked up with the Texas Rockabilly Vampire Danny B Harvey and has spent the last year touring with him as a duo and a guest singer with his band The 69 Cats.  Annie Marie is the real deal-true Rock'n'Roll Royalty.

Roxy & Dukes is located at 745 Bound Brook Road in Dunellen, NJ.
