(FARMINGDALE, NJ) -- The 2015 Jazz It Up Wine Festival will take place Labor Day Weekend at Allaire State Park. One of the longest running wine festivals in New Jersey, the event features wines from 17 Garden State wineries, live music by The Dirk Quinn Band and the Jazz Lobsters, food trucks, kids' activities, craft vendors and more. The festival takes place September 5-6 from 12pm to 5pm. Admission is $25 at the gate or $20 if purchased online in advance.
Philadelphia-based The Dirk Quinn Band will play on Saturday, bringing their brand of high energy jazz/funk to the stage. Sunday, enjoy The Jazz Lobsters, the Jersey Shore’s hottest brass jazz outfit, covering all styles of music from big band to funk, island to rock, and jazz standards. Bands begin each day shortly after the start of the festival, and conclude just before the end of the event.
Participating wineries include Auburn Road Vineyards, Bellview Winery, Cava Winery, Chestnut Run Farm, Coda Rossa Winery, DiMatteo Vineyard, Four Sisters Winery, Heritage Vineyards, Hopewell Valley Vineyards, Monroeville Winery, Old York Cellars, Plagido’s Winery, Sharrott Winery, Tomasello Winery, Valenzano Winery, Villari Vineyards, and Wagonhouse Winery.
Food vendors include Mexi-flip Tacos, Sum Pig Smoked BBQ, Oink and Moo BBQ, Star of the Sea, Seafood, Cherries on Top Ice Cream, Nomad Pizza, Waffle de Lys Belgium Waffles, and Debbie O’s.
