Jerzy Jung is a singer-songwriter from Central New Jersey. This song was inspired by the book Dare Me by Megan Abbott. “I got inspired to write a song based on the feelings Dare Me brought up for me,” Jerzy explained.
“I wanted to talk about the difference between the faces and acts we put on for other people, and the people we are inside. And what happens when we spend all our time putting on a happy face and trying to be perfect, but suppress our other emotions and desires?”
The song was produced by Ron Haney, mixed by Dylan McLean, and mastered by Tom Ruff.
