EVENT PREVIEWS

(PATERSON, NJ) -- Literature to Life (LTL) announces Books Unite: Literature to Life in Paterson, a yearlong series of free community events in Paterson, bringing literature to life through performances, book clubs, and interactive workshops designed to engage community members in powerful stories and shared conversation.

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Dance New Jersey presents DNJFest '26: Moved by Culture at Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts on Saturday, February 7, 2026. This is a statewide, day-long celebration highlighting the power of dance to connect communities, honor heritage, and uplift the diverse voices that shape New Jersey's cultural landscape.

Self Portrait, directed by Samuel DeFrank, is a refreshing, albeit short, entry into the horror genre that tells the story of an aspiring model who is given the chance to be photographed by a famous artist at his cabin, not knowing the true, sinister nature of this photoshoot.

(HOBOKEN, NJ) -- Mile Square Theatre presents The Young King, an imaginative, immersive adaptation of Oscar Wilde's beloved fairy tale, re-envisioned for young audiences and families weekends from February 19 – March 8, 2026. It was adapted by Nicki Bloom and directed by Misti B. Wills. The Young King invites audiences to step inside the story, encouraging reflection and dialogue among children, families, and educators alike.

(NAVESINK, NJ) -- VIP Theatricals presents the World Premiere of CURTSEY – A Royal Comedy by David J. V. Meenan. Polite society takes a spectacular tumble in this fast, fizzy period farce set in the spring of 1939 at the impeccably proper — and wildly unprepared — Woman's Club of Red Bank, New Jersey. Performances take place across two weekends from February 21 to March 1, 2026 at The Navesink Library Theatre.
