Bruce Springsteen
"Lucky Town"

Released in 1992

This was one of two albums released by Springsteen on March 31, 1992. In many ways, the songs sound different than anything he had released to that point. That's because the E Street Band was largely replaced with top studio musicians. The end result are good songs that sound to me like something is missing. That might be why so many of these songs sound better live in concert than on the studio release. My favorites include "Better Days", "Local Hero", "If I Should Fall Behind" and "Book of Dreams".

Bruce Springsteen was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.
