Ben Arnold
"Simplify"

Released in 2010

Ben Arnold is a singer-songwriter from Philadelphia who first started performing in the mid 1990s.  I was introduced to his music from the supergroup 4 Way Street which I interviewed for the first issue of Upstage Magazine in 2003.   I then began following his solo career and the band U.S. Rails which was sort of a continuation of 4 Way Street.

My favorites from this album include "Simplify", "Slow Learner", "Baby, Let the Tears Roll Down", "Breakfast for Dinner" and his cover of John Lennon's "Watching the Wheels".

The feature on 4 Way Street is available here.  A year later, I caught up with Ben after the release of his album, Zig Zag. That feature is available here.
