Alice Leon
"Train Home From New Orleans"

Released in 2012

Alice Leon is someone I've known since the mid-1980s when she fronted a band called Secret Lovers.  They were a popular band around the Jersey Shore and had a regional radio hit with “Desiree (I Know You’re Home Tonight).”.  Years later, she began releasing records with a band called The Alice Project and solo records under her own name.

I first interviewed Alice Leon about Secret Lovers for my book, Beyond the Palace.  That interview can be found here.

In 2019, I interviewed Alice about a wonderful project of hers called The Songs 4 U.  That feature can be found here.
