"Take on Me"

Released in 1985

A-ha is a band from Norway that burst onto MTV in 1985 with the spectacular video for "Take on Me" - a video that remains one of the best ever made, in my opinion.  The band has largely stayed active since then and I keep telling myself that I've got to check out the rest of their catalog someday.
