The Waterboys, led by Mike Scott, are one of my all-time favorite bands. They've been putting out great albums since the 1980s. This was the record that introduced me to them and I had a poster of the record cover on my door for years. The album contains arguably their most popular song, "The Whole of The Moon".
The Makin Waves Song of the Week is "Lie Fight (The Truth)" by the local supergroup Dinosaur Stampede, which features members of Motel Shootout and Rollins Band.
