Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band that exploded internationally with the release of their debut album in 2006. It was the type of album that sounded unlike anything I had ever heard before. The band has continued to make each album rather unique - some work better than others, but the debut still sounds terrific. Long after people said rock was dead, for an album like this one to come out was eye opening.
