The Alarm is a band from Wales led by Mike Peters. They've been one of my favorite bands ever since the mid 1980s. This was the album that introduced the band to me and it remains one of my favorite albums of all-time. As with many Alarm fans, my wife and I had "Walk Forever By My Side" as our wedding song.
The song "Strength" broke through on modern rock stations and MTV, but it's the epic "Spirit of '76" which is the album's best track.
