Billy Joel
"The Bridge"

Released in 1986

Billy Joel is a piano based rock artist from Long Island.  He was one of the first artists I ever followed and probably among the first albums I ever purchased.

He had a monthly residency at Madison Square Garden for over a decade!

This was another very strong album by Billy Joel. Two of my all-time favorites by him ("This Is The Time" and "Temptation") are on this record. I also love "Big Man On Mulberry Street" and "Baby Grand" (which features Ray Charles.

Billy Joel was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.
