The loss of close friends who passed on, the realization of his own mortality, and a dose of nostalgia inspired this brilliant album. My favorites include "Ghosts", "Last Man Standing", "I'll See You In My Dreams", the title track and the trio of songs written many years earlier "Song for Orphans", "Janey Needs A Shooter" and the utterly amazing take of "If I Was The Priest".
I think the future will recognize this as a classic album.
