Soul Engines
"Ghosts On A Landscape"
Released in 1991
Soul Engines was a terrific band from New Jersey in the late 1980s and 90s. This remains one of my favorite albums by a Jersey artist. Lead singer Mark Nuzzi would go on to release a few solo albums after the band broke up. Soul Engines eventually released another record in 2001.
I credit this band with giving me the inspiration for the Beyond the Palace book where I tried to find out what happened to all of the bands I grew up with.
