Prince was a legendary artist from Minnesota that took his career to the next level with the film "Purple Rain" and its soundtrack. He also showed just how talented he was on guitar. If he wanted to, he could have been this generation's Jimi Hendrix. And the title track is one of the true epic songs of the 1980s.
Prince was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
