This album by Peter Gabriel is one of the top 10 releases of the 1980s, in my opinion. It has a special place in Gen X history as the image of "In Your Eyes" coming from the boombox held by John Cusack is probably one of the most defining moments of the decade.
Peter Gabriel was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Genesis and again as a solo artist in 2014.
