Nirvana was a band from Seattle that formed in the late 1980s and would shape the music industry a few years later. Led by Kurt Cobain, the band became the face of grunge music and the top band in alt rock.
Cobain died in 1994, becoming something akin to the Generation X's John Lennon. This would be the band's final album.
Despite only being a band for a few years, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
