John Waite
"Missing You"

Released in 1984

John Waite is a rocker from England whose career began in the 1970s with The Babys. He had some solo hits, but "Missing You" is the highlight of his career. The song topped the charts in America and its video was shown non-stop on MTV. Waite would go on to be part of the supergroup, Bad English, and release many more solo albums.
