Mike June and the Dirty Doves
"Lovesick"

Released in 2007

Mike June is a singer-songwriter who grew up in New Jersey. After several years in Austin, he and his wife (musician Jess Klein) moved to North Carolina. Back when he was still living in Jersey, he had a band called Mike June & the Dirty Doves. This was my favorite release of theirs. I played much of it over and over on my online radio station.

Held in STNJ's intimate Studio space, limited to just 80 attendees, The Sound Studio Series features a dynamic mix of both classical and rock performances.
