Loud Sugar is a band from Hawaii that put this album out in 1990. As far as I can tell it was their only release. Pity because they had a truly unique sound.
The band's keyboard player once described the band as "We're like the Beatles meants Earth, Wind & Fire." The highlight is "Instant Karma Coffee House" but there are a bunch of cool tunes - many with a splash of psychedelic flavor and a nice groove.
The Makin Waves Song of the Week is "Lie Fight (The Truth)" by the local supergroup Dinosaur Stampede, which features members of Motel Shootout and Rollins Band.
(WARETOWN, NJ) -- As autumn settles over the Pine Barrens, something devilish is stirring. On Saturday, November 1, 2025, Albert Music Hall will once again call upon the spirit of South Jersey folklore with its annual Jersey Devil Show — a lively tribute to "Mother Leeds' 13th child," the fabled Jersey Devil said to roam the dark woods of the Pinelands.

These talented individuals are scheduled to present their performances in the new listening room, The Marquee Club located in The Spotlight Cabaret, during the months of October and November.
