Joe Strummer & the Mescalaros was a band Joe had after The Clash. In 2003, they released their third and final album. It was completed and released about a year after Strummer died. In my opinion, it was his best work after The Clash by far. Many of the tracks like "Coma Girl" and their cover of Bob Marley's "Redemption Song" got lots of airplay on rock radio stations.
