Joan Jett is a rocker from Pennyslvania who was first seen in The Runaways in the 1970s. A few years after becoming a solo artist, Joan's cover of "I Love Rock and Roll" dominated radio in 1982. She's known as a terrific guitarist and she has a punk rock vibe running through her songs. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.
This track was written by Bruce Springsteen for the film of the same time in which Joan Jett stars with Michael J. Fox as members of a bar band.
