Bill Owens Five was a band from New Jersey that was around in the late 2000s. I believe the band only released this one album before disbanding, but it's a good one and the song "Garden State" is a classic that few have probably ever heard.
Lead singer Jamie DiTringo would go on to create the band Rosewood Ghosts.

(WOODLAND PARK, NJ) -- Passaic County's Summer Concert Series got off to a strong start with a high-energy opening night on June 11, featuring performances by The Memories Band and Aggressively Screaming Ducks. With clear skies, warm weather, and a lively crowd gathered at the scenic Rifle Camp Park Amphitheater, the evening marked a perfect kickoff to the season and a celebration of summer in Passaic County.
The Princeton Festival was first founded in 2004, beginning its inaugural season in 2005 with four performances of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd in the Kirby Theatre at the Lawrenceville School and a performance by the Concordia Chamber Players. It has since grown to a nearly month-long event featuring opera, musical theater, baroque and chamber music, and a constantly evolving selection of other genres, including dance, world music, orchestral pops, and choral concerts.
