I completely missed this album when it came out, but found it a few years later and very glad I did. It's tremendous. It's got a blend of rock, bluesy, and spiritual songs. The album is as ambitious and musically fascinating as something I'd expect from Kate Bush.
My favorite tune is a nearly 10 minute epic called "Passing Through", but songs like "In My Dreams" have a blend of music and poetry that reminds me of their wonderful album, "An Appointment with Mr Keats".
The Makin Waves Song of the Week is "New Years at the Airport" from Yawn Mower's brand new sophomore LP, "I Just Can't Wait to Die," on Mint 400 Records.
