Days Awake was a great rock band from New Jersey in the early part of the 2000s. They infused a classic rock sound into every song and put on incredible live shows. Unfortunately, the band only managed to record one EP in the studio. I'm thankful this was one of the songs on that EP. It's a terrific track. There are moments in time from the period when I covered Asbury Park's music scene that are burned into my memory. The period with Days Awake are one of them.
