Cure, The
"In Between Days"
Released in 1985
The Cure are a new wave band from England that began in the late 1970s. While they had hits in the UK early on, they didn't become one of the top alternative rock bands in the US until the 1980s and 1990. They've since become one of the biggest alt rock bands to break mainstream.
The Cure was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
