David and David
"Boomtown"

Released in 1986

This is one of my favorite albums of the 1980s. It's one of the reasons for this Hall of Fame - to highlight albums like this that have largely been forgotten by history. It is rare that I ever hear any of these songs on the radio, but they are both perfect diaries of the time period and tracks that still sound fresh. This album got me through many long nights at work. Sadly, it was the only release by the duo of David Baerwald and David Ricketts, although Baerwald continued to release solo albums.

Here are two more tracks to check out
