One of the most inventive bands in pop music, 10cc, will perform live on Monday, July 29, 2024 at the Ocean City Music Pier in Ocean City, NJ. The band's 2024 Ultimate, Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour is the group's first in over three decades.

Wednesday, July 31 - bergenPAC presents The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA. (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) presents The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 7:00pm. Thursday, August 1 - Avenel Performing Arts Center presents Confessions of a Showgirl. (AVENEL, NJ) -- The Avenel Performing Arts Center presents Confessions of a Showgirl from August 1-3, 2024. Starring Maren Wade from NBC's America's Got Talent, this cabaret brings to life the quirky, hilarious and unfiltered account of a modern-day showgirl, onstage and off.

Saturday, August 3 - Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Chrissie Crow - A Tribute to Sheryl Crow and The Pretenders. (TUCKERTON, NJ) -- The Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Chrissie Crow - A Tribute to Sheryl Crow and The Pretenders on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 7:30pm. This is a tribute to two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and two of the most influential female songwriters in rock history.

Wednesday, July 31 - Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago to Play Shows in Camden & Holmdel. (CAMDEN, NJ) -- Music legends Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago, two of the most successful and critically-acclaimed bands of all time, have announced the return of their renowned co-headlining tour across North America – Heart & Soul 2024 Tour. The Live Nation produced tour brings together the timeless music of Chicago and the iconic catalog of Earth, Wind & Fire for one unforgettable night of music filled with epic sets from each artist that will culminate in an encore performance with both bands on stage together.

The event begins at 6:30pm.

Thursday, August 1 - Music Under the Stars Summer Concert Series presents A Capella Night. (FLEMINGTON, NJ) -- Get ready for an unforgettable evening of music under the beautiful summer skies as the Hunterdon Choral Alliance, in partnership with Hunterdon County Parks and Recreation, proudly presents A Capella Night, part of the 48th Annual Music Under the Stars Summer Concert Series. This melodious event will take place on Thursday, August 1, 2024 featuring the harmonious talents of three incredible local a capella groups and a special guest quartet at Deer Path Park. Showtime is 7:00pm. Admission is free.

Thursday, August 1 - Mayor's Summer Concert Series Returns to Rahway with Exciting Lineup. (RAHWAY, NJ) -- Mayor Raymond A. Giacobbe is proud to announce the return of the Mayor's Summer Concert Series in August 2024. The series brings an incredible lineup of talented artists to the stage. From August 1st through August 22nd, music enthusiasts can enjoy a series of captivating performances outside the Union County Performing Arts Center (UCPAC), located at 1601 Irving Street in Rahway, NJ.

Thursday, August 1 - The Weeklings to Perform FREE Outdoor Show in Matawan. (MATAWAN, NJ) -- On Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 7:00pm, The Weeklings will celebrate 60 years of The Beatles and more in a FREE outdoor concert in Terhune Park.

Friday, August 2 - Hootie & the Blowfish, Collective Soul, and Edwin McCain to Play Shows in Holmdel and Camden. (CAMDEN, NJ) -- Iconic pop-rock band Hootie & the Blowfish return to the road in 2024, as the foursome sets out on the Summer Camp with Trucks Tour produced by Live Nation featuring special guests Collective Soul and Edwin McCain. Locally, the tour comes to the PNC Bank Arts Center on Friday, August 2, 2024 and the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden on Friday, August 16, 2024.

Friday, August 2 - The Newton Theatre presents Jim Messina. (NEWTON, NJ) -- Few musical artists résumés list membership in a band inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; fewer still can lay claim to being a founding member of the seminal band credited with creating Country Rock; and only one artist can include all the above in addition to being one half of the most successful duos of the 1970s: Jim Messina. He's been a member of Buffalo Springfield and would go on to form the band Poco and then Loggins & Messina with Kenny Loggins.

Saturday, August 3 - The Doobie Brothers Tour to Come to Camden, Holmdel, and NYC; Steve Winwood is Supporting Act. (CAMDEN, NJ) -- Four-time GRAMMY Award winners and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, The Doobie Brothers, have announced The 2024 Tour which will touch down in 38 U.S. cities, many of which the band has not played in several years, beginning with Seattle at the White River Amphitheatre on June 15, 2024. Locally, the tour comes to the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden on Saturday, August 3; the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Tuesday, August 6; and Madison Square Garden in NYC on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Steve Winwood will be on the bill for all three local dates.

Saturday, August 3 - UCPAC presents Jerry Harrison & Adrian Belew: REMAIN IN LIGHT. (RAHWAY, NJ) -- Union County Performing Arts Center (UCPAC) presents Jerry Harrison & Adrian Belew: REMAIN IN LIGHT on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 8:00pm. The two artists with their all-star backing band, bring you powerhouse renditions of all your favorite Talking Heads classics like "Once in a Lifetime", "Psycho Killer", "Take Me to the River", and selections from their respective solo careers. Cool Cool Cool will be Jerry and Adrian's special guest.

Saturday, August 3 - Debonair Music Hall presents DOOM DOGS with Special Guests Gail Ann Dorsey & John Burdick. (TEANECK, NJ) -- Black Box Studios & The Elated System presents guitarist Reeves Gabrels drummer Jonathan Kane, and bassist Jair-Rohm Parker Wells' DOOM DOGS with special guests Gail Ann Dorsey and John Burdick. The show is on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Debonair Music Hall. Doors are at 6:30pm, showtime is 7:30pm.

Saturday, August 3 - Return to Dust to open for Chevelle at The Wellmont Theater. (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- The Wellmont Theater presents Return to Dust on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 7:30pm. They, along with Tigercub, will open for Chevelle.

Sunday, August 4 - Paterson to Host Anti-Violence Concert featuring Gospel Singer Anthony Brown. (PATERSON, NJ) -- Silk City Connections proudly presents the "Blessings on Blessings: Bounce for Antiviolence" Gospel Concert featuring Anthony J. Brown. The renowned gospel artist and songwriter will perform all of his hits on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Hinchliffe Stadium (186 Maple Street) in Paterson. Showtime is 4:00pm.

Bassist Martin Wind Adds Piano to His Gravity Trio for Area Performances

German-born bassist and composer Martin Wind has built an extensive résumé with more than 20 albums as a leader or co-leader and performance credits with legends such as clarinetist Buddy DeFranco, guitarist Pat Metheny, alto saxophonist Phil Woods, harmonicist Toots Thielemans, and many others. He has regularly performed at some of the top jazz venues in the world. Upcoming performances include release performances for his newest record September (2026, Laika Records) with his Gravity Trio and special guest Glenn Zaleski on piano -- April 9 at Smalls Jazz Club in New York; April 10 at the Puffin Cultural Forum in Teaneck, NJ; and at the Deer Head Inn in Delaware Water Gap, PA, April 11.

Monmouth County Park System presents 2026 Creative Arts Festival on May 9th

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- The Monmouth County Park System is hosting its annual Creative Arts Festival on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 10:00am-4:00pm at Thompson Park. This celebration of the arts features more than 50 specially selected artists in a variety of mediums such as pottery, painting, jewelry, and more. This family-friendly festival also includes live music, engaging art demonstrations, and children’s art-based activities.

Boots in the Borough to Take Place April 18th

(WASHINGTON, NJ) -- With country music and line dancing kicking all day, it'll be a family friendly fun-filled day of dancing, dancing and more dancing when Washington (Warren County) hosts Boots in the Borough on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The free event, which will take place in Downtown Washington from 11:00am to 7:00pm, is the first of its kind in the region.

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Five-time GRAMMY Award winner Angélique Kidjo comes to McCarter Theatre Center on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 7:30pm for an electrifying evening of music spanning her extraordinary career. The performance is part of a limited six-city U.S. tour before Kidjo continues to Europe for a series of international festival appearances.



Westminster

Westminster Conservatory Faculty Recital on April 10th to honor Galina Prilutskaya

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- On Friday, April 10, 2026 at 7:30pm, Westminster Conservatory of Rider University will present a faculty recital to honor the memory of Galina Prilutskaya, a long-time member of the Conservatory's piano faculty who died on October 11, 2025. The recital will take place in Hillman Performance Hall in the Marion Buckelew Cullen Music Center (101 Walnut Lane) in Princeton. The recital is open to the public free of charge.
