Miwi La Lupa and James Hatem to Perform at The Exchange

(ROCKAWAY, NJ) -- Miwi La Lupa, known for his work with Bright Eyes and the Conor Oberst band with blues-rock artist James Hatem, who is returning home to Rockaway, has graced the stage with icons like The Rolling Stones, Dolly Parton, and Ricky Skaggs. The two are teaming up for an exciting 8-date Northeast tour this December. The tour comes to The Exchange in Rockaway on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 7:00pm.
Miwi La Lupa, whose talent has graced stages worldwide, brings a unique blend of folk, rock, and soul to his music. His collaboration with the likes of Bright Eyes and Better Oblivion Community Center showcases his title of producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
Since relocating to Omaha, Nebraska from New York City in 2015, he’s been a fixture at ARC studios recording on many of the projects Mike Mogis has produced in the last three years including Justin Townes Earl, Joseph, Anthony D’Amato, and Saint Seneca. In 2018, Miwi produced two records for Omaha artists Dirt House and Stathi, and co-produced his 4 th studio album with Conor Oberst. He is also a member of Omaha’s Dolores Diaz and the Standby Club with members of Cursive, Bright Eyes, McCarthy Trenching, and The Good Life.
James Hatem is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter who seeks to inspire and connect listeners with genuine, raw songwriting. With publications in Guitar World and working with acts such as Dolly Parton and The Rolling Stones, James continues to work on his craft as a guitarist and writer. James also just released his latest single, "All The Same To You" in November, available on all major streaming platforms.
